SARIS CYCLING
Telling the Hero's story
Saris Cycling makes products for serious cyclists that measure power and help you train. But they were stuck in a functional benefit war. After some qualitative research we found that cyclists believe that they have more to give if they could just find it. The idea, "The Power is in You" was hatched. We walked away from the common cycling visuals of some idealized world and instead opted for celebrating pain. It's a classic hero archetyipical story.
The honesty was rewarded with a 42% increase in sales all attributed to the advertising.

BRIGGS & STRATTON
Making an engine matter with a hero's story
Briggs & Stratton came to us to help them launch a new brand initiative "You Powered." We found brand stories and created video content that garnered over a two million views, appeared on the Today Show, was promoted by several Hollywood notables and made Rodney, the guy who simply started mowing lawns for the elderly, famous.
We launched the Briggs & Stratton quieter mower with a campaign that asked people what they thought a lawnmower sounded like. We got incredible response and some really neat content that could be repurposed. Not to mention we beat out Sqare Bob Sponge Pants for a Shorty Award. You can't say that everyday.
